ARTICLE|ACHIEVING THE PERFECT SKIN

Hello lovely people,
Today I have decided to share with you an article i wrote for a magazine on proper skin care and i thought you my dear readers would benefit greatly from the points i made in the post.here it is;



Possessing a perfect skin is every woman’s dream and believe me it is possible and also very easily achievable .it only takes a level of dedication and attention. Here are a few points on taking care of the skin


  •          Whoever said you are what you eat was right, very right. The health of your skin begins with good nutrition. Include fresh fruits and green vegetables in your food each day and majorly eat foods that are rich in vitamins A, C,Dand E. foods like carrots, whole grains, oranges, eggs, sweet potatoes, nuts, dairies, fish and beans.


  •         Exercise is a skincare essential. Raising the heart rate through vigorous exercise increases blood flow and brings more oxygen to the skin, and cleanses impurities from the body through sweat   
  •     Get a lot of sleep and avoid stress like a plague
  •          Avoid excess exposure to the sun. it causes premature aging which includes wrinkles, loss of elasticity and hyper pigmentation. avoid being in the sun for long period of time,especially between 10a.m and 2p.m.if you really have to be in the sun, wear a sunscreen with SPF 20 or higher
  •          Avoid caffeine, alcohol or cigarettes. they rob the skin of oxygen causing the skin to look dull and gray

There are several skin types such as normal, oily, dry, combination and sensitive skin type. Find out your skin type and use only products designed specifically for your skin type.
When it comes to the application of makeup, less is definitely more
Remove every trace of makeup before you sleep, I repeat never sleep with your makeup on (no matter how tired you are)
And don’t forget to smile, it helps keep wrinkles at bay.
