So I decided to do a post on the different types of eyeliners that are available. There are lots of products on the market today that they even
got us confused. But don’t worry, I’m going to tell you what works
best for me and I’m also going to tell you how to make it work for you too J
1. Liquid eyeliner: it can be used to achieve a
variety of looks but can be very tricky to apply. It is definitely a beginner’s
nightmare. It needs very steady hand and persistent practice to achieve a perfect
line free of track marks. This eyeliner type will give you the prettiest,
smoothest and darkest line you could ever get with eyeliner. Did I mention it’s
greatest for creating the winged eyeliner? I wouldn’t use this product in my
waterline so I wouldn’t recommend you do the same because it will irritate your
eyes. I’d advise you only use it in the lower lash line only when you are a
pro.

2. Kohl/Pencil eyeliner: This is by far the
commonest and also the easiest to apply for both beginners and pros. They’re
applied by just drawing a line across your lash line, so simple right? For more
defined look, make sure the pencil is sharpened and trace the line as close to
the lash line as possible. It is the most commonly used for lining the
waterline and also be used to create natural looks on the upper lash line

3. Cream/Gel eyeliner: This is my personal favorite.
It is waterproof so no matter how long you wear it, it won’t smudge or give you
raccoon eyes at the end of the day (great for teary-eyed brides).Applying it
seems intimidating at first but is so easy when you get the hang of it. All you
have to do is pick up some of the product (a little would do) on an angled
eyeliner brush or eyeliner brush and just line the eye carefully. But be
careful to correct any errors before it is dried because once it is, the
product will stay put!!!It can be used to line under the eyes and even your waterline.
The beauty of this product is that various colors can be used as cream
eyeshadow or eyeshadow base and the product in black is perfect as a smokey eye
base.

4. Liquid eyeliner pen: This is an easier
alternative to the liquid eyeliner. The application is easier to master and it
gives you the same desired effect DO NOT apply into the waterline. Be sure to
store the product vertically to ensure maximum saturation.
