...Oluwayimika Too
Hello beautiful people, happy holidays .
I really don't have any concrete excuse for being MIA all
these while but i hope you bear with me.I have tons of pictures i've piled up
over the past few months and i promise i'll post all of them no matter
how long it takes.
Yinka is one of the lovely people i know and we decided
on a makeover/photoshoot sometimes in july or august but we didn't get
around to it till sometimes in october due to her busy schedule(and mine too).
I decided to go a little bold on the lips, and she liked it,but
she's yet to muster the courage to rock it,lol. The green eyeliner was
meant to complement the lips and stand the eyes out a little more.
me at work....lining her eyes |
The headgear came as an afterthought (i'm sure you noticed it looks
off on her dress)...lol
its the camera flash,i swear,lol |
I love the look and i hope you do too.Feel free to recreate the
look and please e-mail me at mccoybeautyinc@gmail.com if you encounter any
difficulties in the process

GUIDE TO PURCHASING AND USING EYELINERS
So I decided to do a post on the different types of eyeliners that are available. There are lots of products on the market today that they even
got us confused. But don’t worry, I’m going to tell you what works
best for me and I’m also going to tell you how to make it work for you too J
1. Liquid eyeliner: it can be used to achieve a
variety of looks but can be very tricky to apply. It is definitely a beginner’s
nightmare. It needs very steady hand and persistent practice to achieve a perfect
line free of track marks. This eyeliner type will give you the prettiest,
smoothest and darkest line you could ever get with eyeliner. Did I mention it’s
greatest for creating the winged eyeliner? I wouldn’t use this product in my
waterline so I wouldn’t recommend you do the same because it will irritate your
eyes. I’d advise you only use it in the lower lash line only when you are a
pro.

MAKEOVER|DAMMIE'S BELATED BIRTHDAY MAKEOVER
Hello ladies,
My dear friend of several years celebrated her birthday last week and I decided to give her a makeover. We couldnt do it on her
birthday because she had a party(which i didn’t attend*hiding face in
shame*).We finally decided to have the makeover/photoshoot yesterday and it was
so much fun.we talked and talked and talked catching up on old times(we went to secondary school
together)that we totally lost track of time and i must say it was great working
with her .she has great skin as you'd be seeing in her before photo and i didnt
really have to do much to cover up flaws because they weren’t even there
We decided on a smokey eye look paired with nude lips.i had
her pick out the colors since it was her birthday makeover anyway.i hope u like
the looks as much as she liked them
NB: these pictures were taken with my camera, unedited. watch
out for the professional shots.

HOW TO:APPLY FOUNDATION
1.Begin with clean hands and a clean face. The face must have been Cleansed, exfoliated and Toned (depending on the skin type)
2.Apply a moisturizer(even on an oily skin), primer, oil matifier (optional) that’s perfect for your skin type.Foundations will go on more smoothly if the skin is well-hydrated.
3.Let the moisturizing sunscreen, primer, oil matifier (optional) set for a few minutes.
4.Wipe off any excess moisturizer with a tissue. Greasy skin will make the foundation slip and slide.
5.Using a makeup sponge or a foundation brush apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose. Makeup artists swear by foundation brushes to apply product. They soak up less foundation and blend flawlessly.
6.Using the sponge, or the foundation brush, blend the dots together in an outward stroke to the hair-line. Pay special attention to your hairline and jawline to ensure there’s no obvious line.
7.Conceal your dark, under-eye circles, spots, blemishes with a concealer or foundation. Pat, never rub, the concealer into skin.
8.Set the foundation with face powder immediately after application.
